Certainly cheaper to buy the SS parts thru Specialty Marine. To chrome all the pieces in the pic was around $550. They charge for each piece. For example the stern light holder is three pieces. So it added up quick, but I don't think there is any comparison between the chrome over bronze and the SS pieces that all boat builders are using now. Certainly glad I kept the original hardware, although I did buy the bow light and the Norman pin thru Specialty.
