I have a Boston Whaler Squall 1987. The seller called it a gaff rig. I have the boom, the mast and the part of the rigging attached to the boom. The other pipe does not fit into the sleeve. it is just a pipe.I would like to find the correct piece which would fit into the sleeve and match the other parts of the rigging. I have the sail. Does anyone know where I could locate the correct part? With the pipe as it is, it looks as if you would have to tie a rope around the bare pipe to make it work.

If anyone would have the parts it would be Twin Cities Marine. Check the Sponsors section on the right side of the page. Ask for Sue. She is the best Whaler parts person in the country.

If they don't have it, you probably will have to fabricate it or check Ebay.

You probably have already noticed by now but there is another post about Squall rigging currently on the main page. Prior to today I don't recall seeing one post about a Squall, now we have two current posts. Must be their prime season. Joe mentioned to that poster to check the Downloads section for documentation on rigging. You might want to check it out. To get there click on the "Main" dropdown near the top of the page and select the "Downloads" section.

Good luck with your project.

John
