Garris, the over the gunwale el cheapo ladder is what I was initially considering for this summer (if all goes well with the water test this weekend). Would a 3 step be OK for the Revenge or should I go with the 4? I also see online that the hooks are generally 7 or 11". Considering the width of the gunwale, the 7" would probably be a better fit right?

Turpin has a teak transom mounted swim platform with a one step ladder that he offered to me. If the water tests go well I will probably see if I can modify the teak platform to mount onto the transom like Joe's :
