I acquired a Platismo 5 step ladder for my boat (same hull 1979 22ft Revenge). It has a couple of straps that attaches to the gunwale with a pull down cord that releases the ladder. I plan on having it in place when solo fishing. I also have a rigid cheapo 3 step folding ladder that is on board (picked up at garage sale) that a person can easily hang from the gunwales if a passenger falls overboard.
