dear all - this is my first boat and i wanted to ask whether i should be plugging the anchor drain locker when the boat is on the water as the drain seems to be well above the water line.

Most owners do
not plug the anchor locker drain.
If you do install the plug, remember to pull it after rain or taking water over the bow.
