I read about some people replacing the fuel tank on the Montauk but does that apply to this year model too?
The Plastic fuel tank should be fine as long as it is not leaking.

It's the fiberglass tanks that are generally the problem due to the ethanol in the fuel. Recommendation is to replace a fiberglass tank immediately if not sooner.
