The base of my steering unit has come loose from the wooden platform on which it sits. Is there a bracket or other method to secure the base back to the platform. The boat is used in saltwater.saltair which may have corroded over time. Any suggestions ??

Is the steering original or aftermarket? Teleflex?

More info is needed.
