Whaler recomends using 4# foam rather than 2# foam.

You have two choices, depending on how easy the spot is to get too, if you can, i would tape off around the spot. Mix the foam in a plastic mixing cup and pour it into the opening. If it's too large or hard to do that you can pour the foam into any container you can extract it from, personally i use well washed tray from frozen dinners. Do not let the liquid foam get on anything you really care about, the only way to remove it once dried is to sand it off. I have some photo's in my 13 foot project album.
