Thanks for the reply. I picked up some fiberglass resin with hardener today from WestMarine. Do you think your clear epoxy penetrating sealant would be a superior product? I do not plan on pulling up the deck for a good long time after this. The underside of the deck is in great shape aside from a scrape here and there and a wood plug from the original plywood that let go. No rot/decay whatsoever. Surprisingly, feeling underneath the deck covering the fuel tank (as far as I can reach dragging rags for cleaning the chambers) no decay there either. More than happy to return the product I already purchased. Thanks again for info.
