By drilling the Green holes, you will be mounted 2 holes up, like this.

You will not be able to go any lower but you would be able to raise the motor one more hole if needed.
Note: if the motor has 5 mounting holes, then you would be able to go up one or two holes.
We recommend the Green holes if the yellow holes cannot be drilled due to the inside of the transom and splashwell.
