Hello all,

I am brand new to the Whaler world and have finally (after a lot of searching) purchased a classic Outrage 18 whic I'm pretty exctied about! I have also sourced an original RPS to replace the Captains Chairs which is one of a list of jobs I have. I realise a lot is written about this modification but I cant find anything on the best method of filling the old holes from the Pedestal seats.
Would really appreciate the experience of you guys to point me in the right direction.

Cheers in advance.

I prefer to use flathead screws. They blend into the non-skid. and can be sealed with caulk to keep out the water. If you want to repair the non-skid, you can take a look at this thread http://www.whalercentral.com/forum/vi...d_id=18391

Great thread Kamie, thanks for the link. Do you happen to know what size screws to use on the RPS to secure it to the deck?

#14 screws. You want no more than 1 inch to extend beyond the bottom of the RPS into the deck.
