Add an email to your profile and I can forward some pictures of the mounting on my other boat. Basically on the downwards side of the motor's propeller rotation (starboard with conventional) with 1/3 below the bottom (+-)of the boat, slight angle to center of boat, as parallel with water as possible without submerging it too deep past the boats bottom.
