I am in the process of doing research on purchasing a used 17' Whaler Montauk. My vehicle (2008 Jeep 4 door Unlimited) has a towing capacity of 3500 lbs. Does anyone know the approximate towing weight of the Montauk hull, 70hp engine and trailer combined?

I looked through sites and forums and just can't seem to find if the towing weight would exceed 3500 pounds.

Any help you can provide would be very helpful.
