Has anyone installed the Baystar hydraulic steering on a 15, if so is it worth it? While replacing the interior, i figure I may as well replace the steering, as its stiff. I greased it this summer, but its back to being stiff again, plus I get a lot of torque feed back. Was gonna bite the bullet and go with hydraulic. Engine is a '88 Merc 70. Teleflex says it will be compatible. Cheapest I've seen it is $450.00.

I installed a baystar on my 13' and I loved it. Nice and smooth, no grease and the engine would not pull to one side. Nice clean look. I got mine for $400, forgot where I got it from. I did a google search under shopping and the cheapest seller popped up.
