You might have someone measure their 40 qt Marine Igloo Cooler and compare it to the size of the newer 48 qt Marine Igloo Cooler.
The newer 48 qt size is:
Exterior Dimensions (in - L x W x H) 25.75 x 14.63 x 14.5
