looking to replace water pressure, trim, and volt gauge on my panel
honestly i will probably replace all the gauges and tach.
are there differing connections or is the OMC compatible signature OK
would like to stay with the original gauges.
1987 montauk OMC trimmed
black with balck face/white letters, lighted, rims stand about 1/2" off face of panel
i believe these are original with the boat.
any idea as to brand names or a substitute...
(cant quit figure out how to upload pictures)

Tommy,

We have had an article on OMC gauges for years in the article section under "Engine Gauges".
What series of OMC gauges do you have?

Here is an article on adding an OMC System Check Tach to the older engines.

as per the first article, my gauges look "closest" to the TECH series.
But looking at the picture of your console in the following article, i have that exact trim and voltometer gauge, and my tach is the same except no idiot lights.

Tommy,

You are in luck then as the Tech Series is still available.
You can replace them by calling your Evinrude dealer or looking at other outside sources.

You don't need to upgrade to the System Check Tach with idiot lights if you don't want to. They still sell the other Tech Series tach without the idiot lights.
