Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: 170 Montauk 90 2 stroke VS 4 Stroke

I am looking at a 2005 170 Montauk 90HP Merc 2 stroke. The owner says the moter is more economical than the 4 stroke because of its weight. I was a little suprised with that! Does anyone have an opinion or experience with the 90 2stroke. What price would be fair for a boat like this. Good condition with a little over 100 Hrs. No options.
