Hi guys,
I just finished a project on my 13, where I built a base for my new trolling motor. It turned out really well, and I know from experience that there isn't much info on this subject to be found, so hopefully it helps others who want to do this also.
Please see my personal page for photos and info.

How will you be controlling the motor?

Not sure what happened with the SPAM here ^^^

SpongeBob, I just realized I don't show it, but its the base model, 5 speed tiller handle motor, nothing special.

For power, I got the perfect tool for the job, a MinnKota Trolling Motor Power Center from Amazon .com. Its a box for a Group 27 deep cycle battery, with terminals outside the box, 2 accessory plugs, and manual reset breakers for the trolling motor (60amp) and accessories (10amp). It was $59 but if you tried to do this yourself you would spend probably more and have a kludge. This way, I can remove the entire thing (except the base) in minutes.

Nice mount! I used the same method to mount mine to the hull... but the base for my motor happened to be much smaller so I only had to drill in one area and make a small block.
