Sounds like a decent deal to me as well, if all is on the up and up. Not sure of the age of your children or if your wife boats with you a lot, but it is always nice to have a place for the kids to get out of the sun/weather and your wife will probably like the fact that it has a porta potti - could use that fact to help “sell” her on it :).
