Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Brown discharge around white plastic drain in transom

I trailer my boat and have noticed there is a brown colored line coming from the plastic drain in the top of the transom. Any suggestions on what this is. how do i repair and prevent going forward?
