Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: wrap around rail for 13 ft sport

I have a 1979 13 ft sport and just purchased a wrap around rail from specialty marine. Has anyone installed one of these? Just wondering if anyone has some experience installing these before i go drilling holes in my boat. Any tips would be much appreciated!

What do you need to know? I installed one on my 13'.

Just wondering if there are any pitfalls to watch out for. Also, with the package came two brackets that are just eyes that the rail obviously goes through and it supports a vertical post, just now sure which one and where to screw it on the boat. There are also two brackets that clamp the rail down, not sure where they go...are they extra pieces for different installations?
