I recently installed a new fuel tank, fuel line, primer bulb and see-thru fuel filter in my Whaler. When testing the boat at idle (in the backyard) I noticed that the fuel is quickly sucked out of the see-thru filter (and its stays empty) but the engine continues to run fine – even when I rev up the engine.

Since this is the first time I’ve had a see-thru filter—is this normal? Shouldn’t you be able to always see fuel in the filter ? --- YES I’ve double checked to make sure I have not installed the filter or primer bulb backwards.

THANX

AJ
