Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Length and Type for '79 13' Sport Teleflex Steering

I want to convert my cable/pulley steering to Teleflex. I am 300 miles from my boat so I cannot measure. What do you recommend for type, NFB Safe -T II or NFB 4.2 Rotary? Also , with the tilt tube connection, I have estimated a 9 ft. cable based on the drawings on the site. I see there are many that have converted, can someone let me know what the preferred type and length is? Thanks.

I have an 11' teleflex cable on my 13'.

Thanks, I just sent a note to your personal page at same time as you sent this....a further question with respect to which connection you have on your engine (tilt tube or transom mount) and what type of helm (NFB Safe-T II or NFB Rotary) if you knoe please let me know. Thanks..
