Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Hull I.D.-- Who can tell me about my boat?

I purchased my first Whaler this past fall. I grew up on Lake Superior with my dad's 15 footer. I couldn't wait any longer to get my very own. Finally got tired of trying to fish out of my Ski Nautique. I ended up with a '73 Montauk in pretty darn good shape, but still in need of some minor work, clean and buff to get it back looking really good. I'm just curious about my boat. Where can I cross reference my hull ID info?

Just in case someone has easy access to this information, here it is:

BWCA62750673

Stencil:

3A7678

Thanks for any help....

And here are all the Montauks from members.
http://www.whalercentral.com/articles...icle_id=17

And here you can look up HIN numbers for reference.
http://www.whalercentral.com/articles...?cat_id=14

And then you can also look at members personal pages by model.

And then you can look at the Whaler Model Specification section.

That should be enough to get you started... :D

i sent an email to chuck bennet at whaler and i only had the stenciled number, not only was he able to tell me the year and model, he was able to tell me where it was made and the first place it was shipped to.

and i got the answer back the same day.

kudos to chuck.
