Subsequent look revealed:

3 through-hulls in engine well appear sound (based on my experience with having to replace all of the through hulls on my Sakonnet)
Hull sides passed a tap test -- no apparent voids or soft spots (I am familiar with rotorcraft composite rotor blade "quarter tests" ... )
There is no garboard drain through hull ... is there supposed to be one on the V20 or is the lack of one standard?
