New member here having just bought a 1984 13' Whaler from South Florida, appears it needs work and has been worked hard before. Back seat is setup for twin pedestal seats-that is going to go- no front bench seat-that will come-and steering console has so many guage holes in it, it is going as well. What I need advice on is just how the front and rear bench seating and console attaches to the hull. Are there locater pins, or what. The cheat is in place for the console and the two seat clamps for the two bench seats, but I noticed one small hole on each side on the hull where the front bench seat lay. Plus it appears the cheat for the console screws directly into the hull floor. Any ideas, as they say I am good with my hands, and have worked with wood and engines so that is not putting me off, just need a template if you will, Thanks in advance. Time this 13" Whaler retired from the bay fishing to its original condition. If pictures will help I can obtain them.
