 We have created a new RSS weather section here at WhalerCentral. It is comprised of RSS feeds from the NOAA (Weather alerts, forecasts, buoy data and more) and Scripps (California and Hawaii buoy data.
What is RSS? RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is a method web publishers use to distribute news and information in a more or less real time fashion. A more detailed description can be found at Wikipedia.
We have improved this section to include:
- Current weather conditions for all US states and most protectorates
- Marine forecasts
- Weather forecasts
- Current buoy data from the NOAA and Scripps
