I am restoring a 1962 13' custom sport and saw this on another 13' whaler.

It's a welded transom support that does not raise the transom height- anyone have an idea of where I might find it? I'm hoping its a stock item and not something that was custom made

I am having a tough time getting this photo to load. Its 100kb jpg

Erik Kent of Kentfab Engineering offered the transadapter for the 13' Sport to allow the mounting of a 20" short shaft instead of the standard 15" shaft.

In searching the net, their website registration has expired.

Another alternative is a 5" jack plate that accomplishes the same thing.

Thanks- Yes saw Kent's website and will contact them on Monday, but I think I have a short shaft motor. Or at least sizing this up on the motor stand looks like it would work with the standard transom height. Once I get the boat flipped back over I can see exactly if I need to raise the height or not.

Thanks again- appreciate the help

1970 and earlier 13' models had the notched transom for a 15 inch Short Shaft motor.

The transom adapter you show raises the transom 5 inches to allow for a 20 inch Long Shaft motor.
Kent Fabrications seems to have changed their website and basically just tells us to call them.
