I'm looking to include a photo of an old chop gun (1950s, 1960s) in my upcoming book on the history of Boston Whaler. I'm having trouble locating anything worth using and am hoping someone out there has an old chop gun in their garage.

If you have an old chop gun, or even if you have any ideas about where to look, drop me an email.

Thanks,
Matthew Plunkett

Do you mean the equipment that is used to shoot fiber glass with resin?
There is nothing strange or complicated about them. The old once were little bit more primitive than the new once but the general idea has not changed. You can probably Google pictures of this stuff. Find and visit local boat builder. Even a company that manufactures fiber glass bath tubs will have one.
