I'm new to the whaler world. I've always wanted one but never had the opportunity. This boat was abandoned at my storage business and I have legal possession but its a salvage and I'm working on getting the title. Its in need of some repairs but mainly TLC and power. My problem is I cant read the hull numbers. Is there another stamping somewhere? I don't even know the year and the actual model.
Wow its been a while, just got everything titled and cleared... found out its a 1999 18 foot Dauntless. Its had a new hull put under it and was done by a highly rated professional in my area. The boat looks brand new but has a few thing's that need tightened up. Its on 2001 galvanized dual axel easy loader trailer. No power but all the gauges and cables. I nee to get an aprox worth on this boat. Any ideas? NADA says low is $6760.00 Just like some input. I live in Indiana and I'm in Fl with it and would like to sell it down here. Thanks in advance for the advise...

See ?????? Where do you get one of these new hulls as a Boston Whaler is a unibody i.e. a complete boat , there are no keel, frames, stringers or chines, to which you can apply a hull.
