Member Personal Page Posts: 63 Comments: 0 Joined: 07/06/09	I am going to look at a 1992 17' Montauk with a 2014 merc optimax. he is asking $ 6500 for the boat. Is this a good price? From there it really comes down to the condition of the hull, what accessories it comes with, and if it has a trailer. $6500 seems fair if it's turn key, even without a trailer.

He only used it a couple times last year since these don't have carbs is there anything I need to worry about. The only problem if I get this I will have to sell my 1972 whaler sakonnet which I love. Are the hulls the same on these 2 boats?
