My boat has a HIN or stencil number 160302039 inside the bow locker on the rear sidewall. Can anyone help me verify the year, and what the number series describes? I'm new to Whaler Central today. First Whaler, 6th boat

Welcome aboard WhalerCentral.

That has too many numbers.

See this about Stencil Numbers for Whalers prior to November of 1972.

And this:

Do you have any photos of this number?

Possibly I can take a photo tomorrow, and post. It is the number on the title I got, and a data plate for the Pennsylvania registration of the boat. Do you have any idea where any other info for identification might be?

That Stenciled Number is not a Boston Whaler stencil or font used in their stencil numbers that I have ever seen.

Maybe we need photos of the boat to verify it is actually a Boston Whaler.

Let us know.

I'm not able to upload a picture of the boat, but I'm sure it is a pre-1970's, BW 13, tiller, 15" transom.

I'm not sure by the photo but the number obviously is not correct.
