I bought a 1982 Outrage 18 last fall and only got to use it a couple of times before cold weather set in. Spent the winter refurbishing it and splashed today. one of the things I did based on advice from members here was raise the motor to "2 holes up" . Wow! what a difference. last fall the boat was sluggish to plane and had very heavy helm at speed. Today a whole different story. Quick to plane and comfortable to steer.
