I am in the process of restoring a 1987 18' Guardian that was owned by the Navy. The boat had no fuel tank and a clean fuel tank space below the deck when I bought it. In addition, there is no evidence of a fuel-fill fitting ever having been on the port side gunwale, as is the case with the Outrage models. I have also attempted to find some photographs on this and various other sites to answer my question, but have been unsuccessful.

Any assistance as to the original location would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
