I am looking at a 1987 Temptation with twin 150s that sit on a platform attached to the transom. Is this likely to be a problem with trailering and weight distribution while underway asea? Thanks
What you call a platform is probably a Whaler Drive no matter what the name they are constructed to hold the weight of the motors both during land transport and in the water if in good shape. A surveyor could tell you if your not familiar with checking out the condition of an older fiberglass boat.

I'm late to the party here but I'm adding my comments for anyone's future reference. I have a 25' Whaler Temptation and the Whaler Drive does not pose an issue in trailering. I trailered by boat from VT to CT without a problem.
