I own a 2003 130 Sport, and would like to find a floating dock for it, similar to what exists for jet skis. This would be a floating platform that the boat could be driven up on, possibly winched the last few feet, and which would keep it completely out of the water. Can anyone hopefully provide a manufacturer name for such a floating dock? Thank you, Bill.
I thought about this for my 13'. I asked the marina foreman what he thought (he sells floating docks) he told me it would be impossible for even two people to move it into the water. They are also very expensive.
Thank you for the reply. There are actually modular floating dock systems that can be used for things as small as jet skis, and as large as 21'-22' boats. The modular aspect makes them easy to move (on land & in the water), add to, etc. I visited a dealer in the Keys, but he was concerned about the ability of a slightly larger than jet ski floating dock to be able to handle the somewhat deep v of a 130 Sport. I was hoping to find someone here who had experience with such floating dock systems.
