Well..after posting in May that I'd started working on getting the JET running again after being down 6 long years due to frozen Yamaha 650cc/50hp motor..plus other worn out parts needed (purchased 1992 motor, rebuilt carb, starter, electrical box w/wiring harness, drive shaft bearings, rear bearings, stator, muffler, prop & housing, etc)..I lived on Ebay Motors for weeks ordering used/new parts and then installed myself (age 73)..with final bolt & caulking done by mid August..and in water at Hilton Head Island, SC on the ICW where it likes to play in only 1 foot of water or near the shoreline where the big BW's can't dare go..with top speed of 25 knots. Most fun boat I've ever owned (15 yrs; other Family members 5 yrs earlier), economical on gas & maintenance, parts are still easy & cheap to acquire and she's admired by many on the waterways. Eat your heart out larger B-W's!! Cheers, BiLL
