a friend is in the process of buying 2006 190 Outrage with 150hp Mercury Verado. Two things showed up during the survey. VHS radio was junk and the livewell built into the leaning post was not working. Neither is a deal breaker but does anyone have experience fixing the livewell pump? Cost and level of mechanical ability needed would be helpful.

If it runs but does not pump, it might need priming. Force feed the inlet or suck on the outlet. Depenging on type of pump, might need new impeller or diaphram or new fluid end. If it does not run probably just replace it with a new one.
